The Number Farm At-School Field Trip! We had a fantastic time playing games, listening to stories, creating our poster and animal, sorting by colour, size, and animal, and working on building patterns.
We had so much fun learning about penguins this month! We ended the unit with banana-penguin Kinder-cooking! It was also our school "Wear Pink - We Don't Support bullying Day".
Every day can be a day to celebrate in Kindergarten! On February 21st we reached 100 School Days - we have been keeping track by adding fish to our bowl when we do calendar. Every time we reach 10 baby fish we trade them in for a big fish with a 10 on its tummy. Today we reached 10 big fish and traded them in for a shark with 100 on its tail!
Math games with our Grade 6 Buddies!
2019 Silver Carnival! Congratulations Keenoo Kids - $1122.55 was raised to support Kendy, our foster child in the Honduras!
Feel the love in Kindergarten! We took a break from penguins to talk about love, friendship, and families! A big thank you goes to Mrs. Coen (Ms Coen's mom) for making each of us a crocheted heart pin.
What better way to share fun times with our "school family" than with a taco party! We read Dragons Love Tacos by Adam Rubin and Daniel Salmieri and then made our own tacos. Just like the dragons we were careful not to add any hot jalapeños!
